And now for something completely different... Food photography!
Which is something that we've been studying at school lately. This from an assignment shoot. Perhaps not my most personal images, but I did find shooting food fun and I like the heavily visualistic nature of food photos a lot.
The dish is prepared by myself, so it does not look as good as it could (and should). But hey, I'm a photographer - not a chef!
Random-Teenagers is having it's first contest, and the theme is "food". if i were you, i would seriously think about entering this, or another deviation with the theme food <3

I think this is amazing, but I agree with =Marie-Aude and think it would have been better without the blur in the front of the dish. However I think the composition is great, with the green and red colors in the plate. It's interesting. xX
the foreground blur is actually added in post-production, i felt that the focus was a bit too much to the front in the original. but perhaps the slightly artificial look that it has now doesn't work that well, i actually feel that way myself now as well. should have been more careful with the focusing during shooting obviously, it's just so damn hard to see it well from the viewfinder.
I love the colours and composition. But I'm not so sure about the out of focus part just in front.... think if it had been "less" blurred, would have been better. Just my advice
